Female Genetials Tatoos

Christianity, more than Blah-Blah ...

On Saturday, we were able to help trainees in the construction of a house. Habitat For Humanity International is an international, ecumenical, Christian, regierunsunabhängige, non-profit organization with the goal of building "simple, modest and affordable" houses. The houses are built by volunteers and employees and are sold without profit to families.

was very cool, the fact that we worked shoulder to shoulder with the family who will move later in the house. The bottom left image shows Xa, the future home owners. We have done as a helper, especially painting. It was very pleasant to work because the Habitat staff bring a lot of experience and all the tools and materials.

The houses in California are very different compared to Austria. Almost everything is made of wood and I think that will be partly used fewer elements ready than we do. For example, the door frames from a variety of wooden beams and panels are nailed together. In the end it looks nice then. For us, a prefabricated frame is supported ... I have a small panoramic picture of the house next door (also habitat) been done, showing the typical wood frame construction of houses (click on the image to enlarge).

What has impressed us is the construction period. A Habitat house is built in just 20 weeks! The value of houses is 140,000 dollars. The buyer will receive an interest-free loan which they pay back over 30 years. Then the house is their property. The monthly payment is less generally at least 100 dollars more than families have been paid in rent for their old homes or apartments. So really a good thing! The group photo shows Walter and Ina (right) from Germany. They are students at the Bible school Brake. In addition to Silvia is Richard. He remains as an intern over the summer and then goes to the Middle East the U.S. to study and play football.
