The " Karl Unterkircher Award on 09th / 10.07.2010 exceptional climbers in Selva (Val Gardena) won. This award was created to keep the name of an expedition to Nanga Parbat in 2008 crashed mountaineer Karl Unterkircher memory. In this case, mountaineers, have achieved outstanding performance in 2009 when mountain climbing, or during an expedition in alpine style, awarded a prize. This honorary award is based on the fair play principle and is therefore not seen as a competition!
