are missing the Rathis?
No, we have not gone well and. However, we are firmly on the renovation and they move in the last two weeks. We had, especially in the first week, many volunteers that we really have advanced. A big thank you to you! Now it's about the little things to rock. :)
And where are we now? Silvia and I have been yesterday Trauner citizens. Traun is adjacent to Linz, where we will start work on Tuesday. Besides working in the FCG Linz we will also bring in our home town in Steyr.
I have just finished laying the last Lamitnatbodens! Yeah! As a relaxation exercise I have "exclusive" for all blog readers made a still life of three tools that I have especially fallen in love with in the last few weeks ... :). Call me a freak, but just stop shooting fun.

Free Female Stripping
visit dahoam
Kathy, Toby's oldest sister and her husband Mario who visited us for two weeks in California. We had a very good time. I'm just not a big write this, so there are only a few commented images that incurred during their visit. ... Have fun and as always, the images by clicking pose greater.
through this tunnel, the Footballer of the University of Berkeley run at the start of the game.
The stage has 80,000 placements and is on the San Andreas fold. This is the gap between two continental plates and is therefore "little" earthquake risk.
have in the summer holidays, the footballer a "voluntary" workout. The Americans are really extreme in sports. I have not heard that Europeans do such crazy things. Each child is reasonably sporty here on holiday several times a week by 5 clock or earlier to get in time for training ... We surprised the Austrians at a very comfortable:)
four of us on the campus of the University of Berkeley "Cal".
Kristyn and Jon our wonderful hosts. You have made our stay in San Francisco really so fantastic. Kristyn is a teacher and Jon is a football coach. Each team has several coaches and his job is to bring the students to find the training to study.
A little cheeky squirrel or Oachkatzl called.
evening we went to a baseball game of the San Francisco Giants. There was only more tickets for 37 $, so we opted for a standing room in the outfield, which was free. Although we had to stand and had a fence in front of the nose, but it was covered, what the wind and rain stayed away from us. The Giants have won 4 to 2.
The Bay Bridge at night. Since it is erdbebengehährdet, we just built a new bridge next.
The Lombard Street, the curvy road in the world. In this section, the gap is so strong that impossible is a straight road, how could the rest of San Francisco are built, so curves were fitted.
couple Kopeinig front of the Golden Gate Bridge.
And we also ...
The Golden Gate Bridge. By the way, not because of the color red Golden Gate Bridge is, but because they built on the Golden Gate Bay. The red color is eingentlich the rust protection. This pleased the architect so well that he decided to give up the planned Silver paint.
"About" is one of the new trend for here, even if few people know what it means and how to pronounce it correctly. Most say "about". Furthermore, they say not "cool" if you want to be "in". It's called "sweet" or "thight. It may be that the mountain is narrow and a joke sweet. Just as pointless as a cold sweater.
Kathy and I at the foot of a fallen redwood.
This panoramic photo, you can sense the size of the trees compared to the cars in the parking lot.
came On the way home we passed a cow pasture, sort of funny, that graze here in part under the palms.
We also visited a fruit farm. This is a Dinosaurierei, a cross between apricot (apricot for our German friends ...) and plum.
inside a fruit packing plant or whatever you called something like, very interesting.
a donut peach. It's pretty creative to get children to eat fruit.
Guppenbild in the fruit packing plant.
At the end we were still jet-skiing on the river behind the house of the fruit farm - very thight.
Sodala, we now celebrate another 12 days here in California before us, before we fly to Germany, where our final worship service and then move to 4 years once more into the Hoamat.

Crockpot Beef Brisket Tastes Dry
If God answers
is sometimes different than expected, but still amazing. We are really excited about how much the care of Almighty God are our concerns. Three answers to our prayers the last few weeks we will be happy to tell you.
On the last day of our Canada trip I got a gum disease with a wisdom tooth. I had this twice already in Germany and could still remember that this is not Pain is the most pleasant, especially when it starts to fester. I prayed that God makes the inflammation go away and everything will be just butter, but it was the inflammation. So I had to go to a dentist. We then found out that our health insurance is not just an inflammation of the gums covering and I have to pay. Since there was little pain, because it can get quite expensive, as well as X-ray pictures are taken. I came into contact with a dental assistant in our community whose chief also is Christ. She talked to her boss and he agrees to treat me for free. So I had two normal X-ray images of teeth, a panoramic radiograph, a laser surgery (Some gum was burned off), a white filling (the doctor discovered yet another dental caries and wanted to treat me completely) free. Toby and I appreciate that this treatment would have taken 600-1000 dollars. I am encouraged by the generosity, I never had heard a man more blessed than I would have done with a cure of gum disease and would then still the one tooth with dental caries.
For several months I have been praying that we find ourselves in Austria for a suitable apartment. I made a list of points I would like in the apartment, a total of about 15 different things. By Know that it will be very difficult or impossible to find this apartment, as well as "financially affordable" was one of the points on this list. We got a supply of housing by members of our future community. This was the first apartment, which we have considered. We sent out a few days ago a couple of scouts and it was found that every single item on my list is given in this apartment and we have equally agreed times and will live in future in Traun.
For about half a year a couple came to our church, where she was pregnant. They were very desperate because the baby is born, according to medical diagnosis with an open brain after birth and thus equal will die. We prayed in the church lot for her and the little boy, but the diagnosis has not changed. Gabriel came two months ago with an open brain in the world and to the amazement of the doctors he did not die. So they sent the mother with the little ones back home because the doctors thought they could do nothing and the baby could die just as easily at home. Gabriel is still alive, come on Sundays to church, smiling, crying and sleep and all this with an open brain. The doctors do not yet know exactly how to treat him because they had never before encountered with such a case. We do not know why God has not completely healed, and Gabriel, like his life will go on, but we know that every minute Gabriel is living a miracle.
So much of our life with God. A couple of days we are with interns from the community down to the coast to surf. That should finally try once, if one is already in CA. We went there on Sunday and have camped on the beach, which is quite legal in Pismo Beach. Since we must remain even drive it legally drive on the beach and stuck in the sand quite legally =). But we had some people to push.
I'm not surfing natural talent, which is perhaps not too much present in my upper arm muscles content. It is quite exhausting to paddle and then jump from the lying position in the state and not lose his balance. I'm always out twice stood for half a second. Toby has made a bit smarter and is surfed properly.
The wetsuits we have taken on the coast because it has only around 20 ° C and the water cooler is a lot more.
We had a lot of fun but are earlier to Fresno GEDU to Toby's oldest sister and her husband Mario welcomed, which are for two weeks now on a visit. But more on that another time, enough reading for today.

Jet Li Unleashed Music
Canada in grayscale
This time it is the first time a small slideshow. Because somehow I was somewhat dissatisfied with the colors and the quality of the pictures I've decided to convert the images to grayscale. This gives the images a documentary somehow impact what they are basically even.
aim of the trip was a small church in Port Alberni, on Vancouver Iceland to support their work. The church was started 3 years ago, initially grew rapidly to about 80 people and last shrank sharply again. Thus, the mission noted that the new city church (Gateway Community Church) and they invite people to visit the good news to hear.
The trip took on the first day of Fresno to Seattle. They are about 1,500 kilometers. It was a long and arduous journey. It took several hours to leave California and then we went through Oregon and finally in Seattle, Washington to spend the night. In the night I got (toby) chills - the first sign of an impending flu. As of noon on the second day after the "Pain Killer" had subsided, I was use to be nothing more. So I was the first few days in bed and the rest of the team from Fresno set out to beautify the city and the people to do good. Fences were erected, painted walls, gardens dug, built small bridges, etc. I can with some 60 people. Profit before these days Work has brought a flyer to every house to invite for the Sports Camp which started on Thursday. When distributing the flyers the opportunity was taken to pray for each of the houses, or rather for their residents, and to bless them.
Wednesday was Canada's birthday is celebrated with a parade. The team took part in some of the people of Gateway Church and had a moving van with the slogan "Sport Alberni. Some children were playing on the wagon hockey and basketball. It was also advertised for the Sports Camp. I was on this day fairly fit and did the organizers of the parade the favor a few (hundred) to take photos of the parade. Not really a big sacrifice for me :)
Thursday and Friday was a park in the Sports Camp. It came enjoyed the two days over 300 children a morning full of various sports, water fights and a free lunch. On these days, many children heard the first time that God loves them and they can have a personal relationship with him. Some children accepted the invitation (no call) her life to God.
Saturday was our day off and we spent that on the west coast of the island on the beach. It was something cool but with beach volleyball and grilling is a fast-warm. Still, it is unusual that in North America, fast times in 1-2 hours Directions purchase takes just a few hours "to depend". We were about 4-5 hours on the beach and spent about 3.5 hours, however, to the street.
on Sunday was a service in the open and there were about 50 people more than the previous Sunday. After the service task it REAL fast food. All team members were given a final Burger pressed into his hand and jumped into the car - we had to reach the ferry on time. It was good that we had started so quickly, because after the last car of our convoys were only 2 or 3 cars left on the ferry. We stood right at the door of the ship. The rest of the ride home was about how the approach with the difference that I was not sick. And now the pictures - which I assume that 95% of readers have first seen the pictures ... :) I do not know why I have written so much this time.

Accidental Male Frontal
Oh Canada! Someone in
The pictures from the trip to Canada is through filter not quite, etc. If all goes well, then is it tomorrow more pictures and information about the time in the north to Vancouver Iceland. It was a good and instructive trip. I must say, however, that the images do not get better than this to the left. It is my opinion the best out of about 500th ..:) The Büdl shows the leg of a bagpiper Scottish local band from Port Alberni. This music group was part of the Canada Parade on 1 July - the Canada Day. Canada is with today's day 142 years and 8 days "old" (formation of the Canadian Confederation). See you soon.

Pokemon Double Star Cards
because Canada?
On Thursday we will start with about 60 children, adolescents and adults from Mountain View Church in the direction of Canada. Over 1,500 km, we put on the first day back until we reach Seattle. We were so naive and have reported both as a driver and hope that we will go to it 15 hours in a day safely.
The next day we drive to Port Alberni on Vancouver, British Columbia, Iceland (on the west coast).
be where we support 10 days, a small parish. We are organizing a sports camp, to attend the Canada Day Parade, and just be there to serve the people.
How it really was and is a few self-made photos then in July.

Toby and I have participated in a marriage seminar or helped (set chairs, coffee makers and other anstruchsvolle tasks such as cleaning and so, D) In this seminar. have we met ST and Keli. ST is a passionate fisherman. They have invited us to go fishing with them yet.
We then drove to a lake only 2.5 hours away with a few more of their friends.

Female Genetials Tatoos
Christianity, more than Blah-Blah ...
On Saturday, we were able to help trainees in the construction of a house. Habitat For Humanity International is an international, ecumenical, Christian, regierunsunabhängige, non-profit organization with the goal of building "simple, modest and affordable" houses. The houses are built by volunteers and employees and are sold without profit to families.
was very cool, the fact that we worked shoulder to shoulder with the family who will move later in the house. The bottom left image shows Xa, the future home owners. We have done as a helper, especially painting. It was very pleasant to work because the Habitat staff bring a lot of experience and all the tools and materials.
The houses in California are very different compared to Austria. Almost everything is made of wood and I think that will be partly used fewer elements ready than we do. For example, the door frames from a variety of wooden beams and panels are nailed together. In the end it looks nice then. For us, a prefabricated frame is supported ... I have a small panoramic picture of the house next door (also habitat) been done, showing the typical wood frame construction of houses (click on the image to enlarge).
What has impressed us is the construction period. A Habitat house is built in just 20 weeks! The value of houses is 140,000 dollars. The buyer will receive an interest-free loan which they pay back over 30 years. Then the house is their property. The monthly payment is less generally at least 100 dollars more than families have been paid in rent for their old homes or apartments. So really a good thing! The group photo shows Walter and Ina (right) from Germany. They are students at the Bible school Brake. In addition to Silvia is Richard. He remains as an intern over the summer and then goes to the Middle East the U.S. to study and play football.
